Asset Management



Asset Management Services are defined as the logging, tracking, updating and maintenance of a database of in-scope Hardware and Software owned or leased by customer.

 

MMe will perform the following Asset Management functions with respect to in-scope Desktop/Server/LAN Hardware and Software:
   • Conduct an initial, physical inventory of Hardware and Software.
   • Advise customer of the results of the initial inventory.
   • Maintain an asset management system containing information to be mutually agreed by the parties, which shall include:
      o Product type
      o Manufacturer
      o Device type
      o Model number
      o Version number
      o Location
      o Maintenance status
      o Amount of memory
      o Hard drive size
   • Update or correct the asset management system following Installs, Moves, Adds, or Changes performed by MMe.
   • Update or correct the asset management system following MMe receipt from customer of information (in an agreed upon medium and format)
      regarding personnel and inventory changes effectuated by customer and information not otherwise available to MMe with respect to new assets.
   • Produce periodic reports and machine readable files in agreed upon format pertaining to some or all of the inventory information maintained in
      the asset management system.
   • Develops and implement a Software license management procedure to establish a Software license baseline and monitor the customer
      environment for compliance with Software license requirements.
